The criminal justice major is designed to provide the
student with a thorough understanding of the criminal
justice system, including law enforcement, the
judiciary, and corrections, and an understanding of how
these complex and interrelated systems relate to the
total society.
NEW FOR FALL 2008:
Course requirements are organized into
required
and
criminal justice elective courses. The
required component includes those courses
essential to building a strong general foundation in the
discipline. The required courses must be taken by all
criminal justice majors.
|
|
The
total major consists of 14 courses, or 41 credit
hours. A grade of C- or higher is required for each
course in the major or minor.
Current and future students should consult the
appropriate College Catalog for any changes in the
curriculum. |
